Tetromino Tiling Tasks
Tetrominoes are arrangements of four squares. Each square must abut at least one other square along a complete side. The five possible arrangements are shown below.

1. Make two complete sets of tiles (10 pieces) and find a way to tile an 8 x 5 rectangle. The tiles may be flipped over. Make a sketch of your solution.
2. Find and sketch a second solution.
3. Three complete sets will never tile a 12 x 5 rectangle. Give a reason why not.
